Read The Forum

If you are banned from the forum, I suggest going to this website and copy and paste this link: http://www.cracked.com/forums/?action=search

Click on the forums and go to John Cheese's Magic Pimp Bus. The conversation everyone is upset about is on the last few pages. The website will hide your IP address and make it possible for you to read the forum.

Nothing in this entire debacle has made my blood boil more than reading David Wong's comments. He knows full well that those who were making death threats and posting personal information are an extreme minority, yet he has blocked literally every person both on the forums and comments who even makes the suggestion that they are in the wrong. He acts as if the reason we're upset is because of Cheese's article on puns when he knows full well that it's vitriolic comments and mass bannings that have us upset. He's convinced a lot of people that the bans are only for those who are being extremely offensive towards John Cheese. This is why it is absolutely vital to get the word out. People must know what really happened.

I feel as if I'm in a sound-proof glass cage, screaming for someone to listen.

  1. I just want to defend BC a bit, there. Its not like he switched sides, or they convinced him of anything. He probably didn't get to even see it all before everything was deleted. He was primarily going against the real idiots, the ones threatening Cheese and his family and posting his friggin home address. Some people did take it too far, and made us all look bad. BC has a lot going on and probably only knew anything was happening from people referencing it on later articles.

    1. I know that now. He's fine with me. I mainly got the impression at first that he was going against the grain. I'll edit the post.

I just wish this would all be over. My IP is permabanned so it looks like I'll never get my account back. Everyone believes some weird distorted version of the story and the few of us who do know what's going on can do nothing about it. It just makes me feel sick. Being treated like a bad guy and having no way to defend yourself.

  3. We're all still here. Even if this goes nowhere, there are people who will remember.

  4. Are you really going to remember, five years from now, being banned from posting on Cracked? Is that really, honestly, something so important to you that you're going to keep it alive in your memory until the day you die?

If so, your life is pretty pathetically devoid of events.

    1. Probably not, no. But in the present it's a pretty important part of my free time. I should mention that free time doesn't constitute as much of my day as you think and that typing for this blog doesn't take too much out of my day.

    2. Yes, I will remember. I won't actively thing about it, but my memory will contain the information about this.

Till the day I die? Again, not actively thinking about it. But unless something messes with my brain, I will probably remember it. Just I remember eating cereal at some morning.

    3. I think Internet bullies come from 4chan Anon. But let's get this straight. You come and instigate a conversation with me about me not having a life. I indulge you and you call me a "dumbass." And yet I'm the bully? Interesting.

    4. Oh sorry. Things get confusing with all the Anons running around.

  5. I don't think it takes up to much out of your day, but the fact that you decided to create an entire blog all about it tells me that you don't have more important things to think about, at least at the moment. People whose lives are full of events wouldn't have let it bother them. People who have a sense of proportion would see that when a ton of people are threatening to kill you, and trying to tell you that you should go back to being an alcoholic, and pulling shit like trying to post your address so that people can get involved in your non-professional life, then shit is pretty serious. If you had felt that your comment being deleted was unnecessary, a better option would have been to contact Wong or Cheese and say, "I'm not sure why my comment was deleted, I didn't intend to be insulting or threatening, and I'm sorry it came across that way." And leave it at that. Posting comments in a public area about how you're being silenced is like going up to a giant, muscle-bound guy and saying "I bet I can kick your ASS, tiny!" And then finding it unfair that he made pulp out of you.

    1. Way to see this in the most one sided manner possible. People on both sides of this conflict suffer from sense of proportion issues. Some of the commenters blew this so out of proportion they will never enjoy Cracked again. Wong blew this so out of proportion he called us all sociopaths and cockroaches. Cheese blows things out of proportion on a regular basis. Look up his tumblr post where he calls a 17 year old girl a cunt for no reason.

    2. Do I really need to point out the fact that you are the one making a long-winded comment to me now? On a blog that you would actually have to do some pretty hard searching to find and presumably on an event that you don't care about. And yet I'm the one without a life? If your life is just teeming full of interesting events, I respectfully ask you, sir/madam, what the holy fuck are you doing here? Not that it matters at all, but I have a certification test coming that will decide the future of my career as well as a marriage to think about because I just got engaged. My life is fine. In fact, this is a welcome distraction.

  6. I have to ask if you've ever entertained the idea of the entire thing being an intentional trap, an excuse for the two to get rid of some people they don't like. Think about it, Cheese's article was basically a huge middle finger to the comments section and there's no way he thought the comments section wouldn't be pissed about the whole thing. They didn't think they could get away with just banning people they didn't like for no reason, so they baited those people into giving them a reason.

It's like a guy starting a fight with somebody else while their cop buddy waits around the corner to arrest him for assault.

  7. Have you ever entertained the idea that the whole thing was a setup by Cheese and Wong? There's no way Cheese thought a giant middle finger to the members in the form of a dedicated article wouldn't piss them off. It looks like an excuse to get rid of some people they didn't like without having to come up with a reason why, because they'd just bait them into giving them a reason.
